Defined as the new meeting point for design, architecture, innovation and technology, the first Buildist Fair will be held on September 30th - October 3rd 2010 at CNR EXPO Center.
Arkitera Architecture Center and Survey Marketing + Consulting GmbH & Co. KG, experts on construction industry and fair organization joined forces for Istanbul: BUILDIST aims to reach the Balkans, Republics of old Soviet Russia, North Africa and Middle East countries and to be the second biggest fair of this region after the Moscow fair, in three years' period.
Being one of the future property investment countries, Turkey provides many opportunities to producers of construction industry in the domestic market. In addition, the worldwide success of Turkish builders and the development that have been made by national and international companies producing construction materials keeps improving Turkey's profile of construction industries. Aiming to provide the construction materials manufacturers the international and professional platform they need, Buildist will be the world's meeting point in Istanbul.
Arkitera and Survey, considering also a fair's visitors as important as its exhibitors, bear a resemblance from the past days: Arkitera Architecture Center maintained its identity thanks to the audience (the visitors) of more than 300 event it organized for the construction industry. Today, similarly Survey owes its worldwide success to the principle of pleasing the fairs' visitors using various strategies. These different points of view with the same results will affect BUILDIST 2010 in terms of increased number of visitors, what means also customers for exhibiting companies and thus a real benefiting fair organization for both sides.
Special arrangements on the fairgrounds, innovative solutions in the entrance area, an online system that enables the visitors and exhibitors to communicate and face-to-face meeting points are a few examples of this different approach. And BUILDIST's differences will not be limited with fairgrounds design, but there will be also special signs for new products, a Social Responsibility Area for manufacturers to present their social responsibility projects and a Green Buildings & Technology Hall within the fair.
The Fair Support Programme
Creating new job opportunities for visitors and exhibitors, BUILDIST's professional platform will be supported with the Fair Support Programme. With a new design approach, on the fair's special meeting and exhibition areas panels, discussions, exhibitions and workshops will be organized. In addition, prestigious awards of the sector and architectural culture will be given during BUILDIST.
The Fair Support Programme's events won't be limited only in BUILDIST days and fairgrounds. Thanks to BUILDIST, many cultural projects of architecture that was remaining undone will be realized. BUILDIST, creating opportunities for companies to present their social responsibility projects, will itself take social responsibilities and make contributions to architectural culture.
Broadcasts, newspapers and periodical journals; direct marketing methods and outdoor advertising will be used effectively to present the fair and the cooperations with sectoral media will go beyond common advertising projects.
BUILDIST will also differ with its presentation campaigns. In addition to the classic tools, the internet environment won't be perceived as an alternative, but the main channel for presentation. The web site www.buildist.com.tr will go beyond being only an information tool and it will be integrated to all new possibilities of Web 2.0.
BUILDIST exhibitors will reach to the high-qualified visitor profile by means of international communication projects in aimed regions and cooperations with chambers of commerce, in order to create Istanbul's new international event.
