The new meeting point for design, architecture, innovation and technology, the first Buildist will be held on September 30th - October 3rd 2010 in CNR EXPO Center. The event was introduced to public on the evening of November 17, with a spectacular occasion in Four Seasons Hotel Bosphorus.
Realized with the cooperation of Arkitera Architecture Center and Survey Marketing + Consulting GmbH & Co. KG, Buildist was introduced to the design, construction and building world with an organization. Prestigious building & construction companies and many successful architects and designers were among the attendants of the evening. Moderated by Özlem Gürses, Habertürk channel's speaker, Arkitera Architecture Center's partner Ömer Yılmaz also gave a speech to the audience about the story of Buildist and how they came to cooperate with the leading organization firm Survey.
The programme went on with Peter Meyer's words, the founder of Survey Marketing + Consulting GmbH & Co. KG. Based on quotations from Survey's historical account, Mr. Meyer underlined that the company focused not solely on fair organizing, but also gave marketing and consulting services. He stated that it was a right decision to join the construction industry and gave some secrets for success:"Do something other people don't do, success comes on its own." Explaining their cooperation with Arkitera Architecture Center, Meyer defined Turkey's construction industry as one of the most developed ones and Arkitera being the right company to realize such a different organization which includes the whole sector.
Being one of the property investment countries of the future, Turkey will provide many opportunities to producers of construction industry in the domestic market. In addition, the worldwide success of Turkish builders and the development that have been made by national and international companies producing construction materials will improve Turkey's profile of construction industries. Aiming to provide the construction materials manufacturers the international and professional platform they need, Buildist will be the world's meeting point in Istanbul.

About Arkitera Architecture Center
Arkitera Architecture Center is an independent architecture organization with the aim of a qualified environment of architectural practice in Turkey and to equal the Turkish architectural quality to modern countries' level. Differing from world's architecture centers which exist with supports from state, local authorities or with various funds as non-governmental organizations, Arkitera is an organization without any support from any development. The center's all events are planned concerning the needs and potentials of Turkish architecture environment.
After preparations between June - October 2000, Arkitera Architecture Center started its first online publication Arkitera.com which was then followed by other events and publications.
